Company History

Growing up surrounded by authentic Greek recipes and family gatherings instilled in us a deep appreciation for the flavors, hospitality, and values that have been passed down through generations. Those traditions remain the foundation of our business today.

After searching for authentic Greek ingredients in Arizona, we recognized the need for a specialty market offering a carefully curated selection of genuine Greek products in one welcoming location. Our vision became creating more than a grocery store — a destination where customers can experience the warmth of Greek hospitality while discovering the finest foods Greece has to offer.

The name 'To Bakaliko,' meaning 'The Greek Market,' reflects that vision. Like the neighborhood markets throughout Greece, we strive to provide personal service, trusted quality, and products chosen with care.

To Bakaliko features premium imported Greek foods including extra virgin olive oils, olives, cheeses, yogurt, frozen phyllo products, breads, pastries, desserts, honey, coffee, teas, herbs, spices, pantry staples, and traditional sweets. We also proudly offer signature Greek meats including authentic pork souvlaki, seasoned lamb specialties, traditional gyro, and other premium Mediterranean meats that celebrate the authentic flavors of Greece.

As the company grows, we plan to expand our offerings with freshly prepared foods, gift baskets, online ordering, catering, and community events that celebrate Greek culture. Every supplier will be selected for authenticity, every product for quality, and every customer welcomed like family.
